While shared during Pride, this survey is not limited to LGBTQ+ experiences. People may feel unable to be themselves at work for a range of reasons, including personal expression, beliefs, or background.
Be clear on your intent and be prepared for a range of responses. In practice, this may include feedback from people who feel excluded for different reasons, as well as views that challenge or resist DE&I-focused activity.
This is still useful insight. It can help highlight where experiences differ, and where attitudes or behaviours may be impacting others. However, it should be interpreted with care, as some responses may add noise and require thoughtful analysis to understand what is driving them.

Most organisations don’t have a policy problem.
They have a visibility problem.
