Organisational Priorities 

For the first time since we began our State of the People Profession survey, Retention is no longer the top priority for organisations.

Employee Engagement remains in the top 5, but Building Management Capability has become the top priority for many organisations, followed closely by Developing Leadership Talent.

With Management Capability being an enabler of people outcomes such as retention, this shift may suggest that organisations are starting to address the root cause rather than managing the impact.
