What do we mean by Employee Engagement?
We treat engagement as an outcome, and more specifically commitment, motivation and advocacy of your people. But Employee Engagement can also be an umbrella term for people strategies and our Px3 approach provides you with a more holistic measure of your people experience.
Why is Employee Engagement Important?
Employe Engagement has been shown to be positively correlated with many business and people outcomes, including wellbeing, performance and innovation. That’s one reason so many businesses choose to make it their key people metric. Of course, you may also want to consider different outcomes if you run a survey and our flexible approach means that you might want to understand what’s going to impact, say, engagement and wellbeing.
What Drives Employee Engagement?
No two organisations are the same, and while we see consistent that things like company leadership, people practices, communication, teamwork and even sustainability all influence employee engagement, their importance varies for different workplaces and employee groups. That’s why it’s so important to understand what’s driving engagement in your unique context.
Can We Measure Engagement Drivers for Different Populations?
If your organisation is large enough to have different groups that enable a full drivers analysis, we can help you to understand them better and develop more targeted strategies. This might be different divisions, geographies or even demographic groups.
Can We Benchmark Employee Engagement Against Other Organisations?
Absolutely. On our platform, if you choose benchmarkable questions in your survey you can compare your results to other organisations, and this can be a useful perspective. Whatever questions you use, you can also compare different groups in your own organisation to the norm, too.
